Overview

You can request disconnection of third-party accounts, deletion of imported BrandMilo data, or deletion of your BrandMilo account. Disconnecting an integration stops future access but may not remove data already stored in your workspace.

The current deletion path is email. In-app export and self-serve account deletion are not enabled.

Request by email (primary today)

Email privacy@brandmilo.com with subject Data Deletion Request.

  • Include: the email address on the BrandMilo account, workspace name if known, connected shop or Pinterest account names if known, and the request type (disconnect integration, delete imported content, or delete account).
  • Do not send passwords, OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, session cookies, or provider login codes.

What BrandMilo does after a valid request

Requests sent to privacy@brandmilo.com are handled in this order:

  • Verify the request against the BrandMilo account where appropriate
  • Record the request
  • Disable relevant integrations
  • Cancel scheduled BrandMilo publication jobs where applicable
  • Remove stored BrandMilo OAuth credentials where supported
  • Remove applicable BrandMilo data according to the Privacy Policy
  • Record completion and reply to the requester

Disconnect an integration

Disconnect deletes stored BrandMilo credentials for that integration and marks it revoked. It does not remove Pins already published on Pinterest. Imported listings and drafts may remain until you request deletion by email.

  • Sign in at https://app.brandmilo.com
  • Open Integrations
  • Select an enabled integration such as Etsy. Pinterest disconnect becomes available when Pinterest Connect is enabled.
  • Choose Disconnect and confirm

Delete imported or generated content

  • Email privacy@brandmilo.com as described above and specify the shop, social account, listing data, drafts, or publication history to remove.
  • Settings → Data & privacy currently explains this email path; it does not yet delete selected records in-app.

Delete the entire account

Self-serve deletion from Settings → Data & privacy is not enabled. The in-app control only explains this email path.

Data that may be retained

We may retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, billing, dispute resolution, backups, and enforcement, as described in the Privacy Policy.

BrandMilo retains account and workspace data while an account remains active. After a verified deletion request, applicable records are removed from active production systems through an operator-handled process. Operational, security, and audit logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, legal and compliance obligations, and service operations. Exact automated retention periods will be published once those jobs are implemented and enforced.

Provider deauthorization and Meta deletion callbacks

If a provider sends a valid deauthorization event and BrandMilo has implemented that webhook, BrandMilo will disable the integration, remove or revoke stored credentials where supported, cancel future scheduled jobs for that integration, and record a sanitized audit event.

Meta data-deletion callbacks will validate the signed request, create an auditable deletion job, return a confirmation reference in the required format, and delete or anonymize applicable records when that integration is implemented.
